Description

The Massage Therapy Foundation (MTF) announces its highly anticipated International Massage Therapy Research Conference (IMTRC), set to take place April 27-29, 2025, in Alexandria, Va. This triennial event, first launched in 2010, is the singular gathering of massage and manual therapy professionals, researchers, and thought leaders worldwide.

IMTRC 2025 promises to be a hub for learning and collaboration, where experts will share research findings that shape the future of massage therapy. Attendees will dive into the latest work that drive this evolving field, gaining insights to elevate their practice and impact their communities.

“Research and education are the cornerstones of our profession’s growth. By prioritizing these areas, we empower massage therapists to push boundaries and elevate standards,” said Adrienne Asta, MTF President. “IMTRC 2025 is where ideas and professional development converge.”

MTF extends gratitude to the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), the 2025 Presenting Sponsor of IMTRC, for their unwavering support.

“We’re thrilled to support IMTRC 2025,” shared Kim Kane Santos, AMTA President. “This event is a unique opportunity for massage therapy professionals to connect, learn, and lead the way in advancing our field through innovative research.”
